www.durhamautoclub.org.uk DAC are a very active club which was formed in 1952. Its members compete in Stage, Navigational, Historic Rallies, Rallycross, Car Trials, Karting, Circuit Racing and Autotests. We also have some great fun events suitable for families, Treasure Hunts, Navigational Scatters, Gymkhanas and Barbeques! You don't need specialised cars or modified road cars, just use your road one!! The club organizes lots of events throughout the year and tries to cater for anyone interested in motorsport. Our outdoor events consist of rallies, navigational scatters, autotests, production car trials, regularities, karting events and more. Our club nights are held every Wednesday night. One night per month being a Committee Meeting. Other Wednesday nights can include, quiz's and video nights or just getting together for a chat. This year we are also holding an Armchair Motorsport Championship – check out the calendar page for the dates! We have an awards night in January where the trophies for all of our championships are awarded for the previous year. You do not have to be a competitor to participate…. We are all motor enthusiasts, some are more competitive than others, some only attending events to help and spectate. Family and student memberships are available.
